About Us

We work with the people of Wales to take up outdoor activities as a life-long pursuit. Together we change lives for good. From local clubs to the peaks of our mountains there’s a place for everyone.

Our projects develop the confidence, skills and team working that can provide the stepping stones to new opportunities and healthier lives. Through volunteering, education, participation, training and employment there’s a place for everyone to change for good.

To achieve an active, healthy and inclusive Wales, where outdoor recreation provides a common platform for participation, fun, achievement and employment which binds local communities, creating sustainable use and understanding of the environment.

To Improve opportunities for more people in Wales to achieve their potential through outdoor activities.

Job Vacancy - Health and Wellbeing Officer

The Charity is seeking to recruit a dynamic, professional and highly skilled individual to expand the charity’s ‘social prescribing’ programmes to all other regions in Wales and share good practice and knowledge with additional participating regions in the UK. The Post holder will work closely with key partners including Welsh Government, Health Boards, Local Authorities, Housing Associations and National Parks to improve the health and wellbeing of the residents of Wales improving access to the outdoors in a sustainable and responsible way.

Clubs and Groups

Available to voluntary clubs and groups providing regular outdoor activity provision in communities within the area of benefit. There are three types of membership, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Individual

Available to individuals who share the vision and mission of the Outdoor Partnership and would like to contribute towards the charity's work. Individual members have a vote at our AGM.

Stakeholder

Available to organisations within the area of benefit that share the vision and mission of the Outdoor Partnership and can demonstrate a material contribution to the charity’s work.
