About Us

We work with the people of Wales to take up outdoor activities as a life-long pursuit. Together we change lives for good. From local clubs to the peaks of our mountains there’s a place for everyone.

Our projects develop the confidence, skills and team working that can provide the stepping stones to new opportunities and healthier lives. Through volunteering, education, participation, training and employment there’s a place for everyone to change for good.

To achieve an active, healthy and inclusive Wales, where outdoor recreation provides a common platform for participation, fun, achievement and employment which binds local communities, creating sustainable use and understanding of the environment.

To Improve opportunities for more people in Wales to achieve their potential through outdoor activities.

  1. Inspiring children and young people to be active in the outdoors in a sustainable way.
  2. Support the development of quality products in appropriate places to provide enjoyable outdoor experiences

The Outdoor Partnership wins Best Use of Welsh category at Inaugural Welsh Charity Awards

The Outdoor Partnership from Capel Curig, Conwy, won a prestigious award on Friday evening (15 November) at the inaugural Welsh Charity Awards, organised by WCVA to honour excellence in the third sector in Wales.

The Charity has secured funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to replicate its ethos to other regions in the UK. The ‘Opening Door to the Outdoors’ is a 7-year project and the Charity is seeking to recruit three dynamic, professional and highly skilled Outdoor Activity Development Officers

The Outdoor Partnership have reached the final shortlist for the Community Engagement award and Best use of Welsh Language at the Welsh Charity Awards 2019, to be held on 15 November.

Local school children take part in Paddle Sport Activity Day!

Last week in North Wales over 250 school children from over 16 schools took part in a paddle sport activity day.

Clubs and Groups

Available to voluntary clubs and groups providing regular outdoor activity provision in communities within the area of benefit. There are three types of membership, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Individual

Available to individuals who share the vision and mission of the Outdoor Partnership and would like to contribute towards the charity's work. Individual members have a vote at our AGM.

Stakeholder

Available to organisations within the area of benefit that share the vision and mission of the Outdoor Partnership and can demonstrate a material contribution to the charity’s work.
